This is an official race! The 2008 race was a USATF sanctioned event, managed by a professional timing service. However, this is more than a race. The event provides an opportunity for Profugo supporters to gather and encourage one another. Profugo team members have the opportunity to share the latest news and also about upcoming plans.
Profugo is a non-profit organization involved in sustainable international development. The organization has developed a model that incorporates a Health Center, a Business Development Center and a Micro-Finance Center that will be deployed in developing and under-developed communities worldwide.
